Project Manager (High-End Resi AV, Lighting, Shading, Control)
About The Position
Global Wave is seeking a trustworthy, hungry, humble, smart (high EQ) individual to join their team as a Project Manager. This role is hands-on and requires a willingness to be in the field rather than behind a desk. The ideal candidate is technically inclined, curious about how things work, and has experience on construction sites as a Project Manager in AV/LV. Knowledge of the built environment and experience with all three phases of implementation (Rough/Trim/Final) is essential. A steady work history (3 years between hops) and a pleasant disposition are also key requirements.

- Ability to read, interpret, manifest, mark-up, and distribute plan sets/blueprints.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the Primary Point of Contact for clients, in-house staff, other trades, GC, architects, and reps.
- Understand, deliver, and troubleshoot the scope of work as needed.
- Manage project timeline and scheduling, ensuring proactive planning and alignment with resources.
- Ensure project profitability by keeping actual hours at or below budgeted hours, and by removing redundancy and errors.
- Issue work orders to the team and coordinate with third parties.
- Perform quality control to ensure all work meets the scope of work, plans, company standards, and client expectations.
- Read, interpret, manifest, mark-up, and distribute plan sets/blueprints to the team.
- Create, submit, get approval for, confirm payment, and execute change orders.
- Maintain up-to-date status updates in Project Management Software (DTools) at all times.
- Work on construction sites with situational awareness.
