About The Position

LP Custom Solutions is seeking a trustworthy, hungry, and technically inclined AV Project Manager to join their team. This role involves splitting time between the field and the office, with a focus on understanding, delivering, and troubleshooting AV/LV projects. The ideal candidate will have experience on construction sites, knowledge of the built environment, and experience with all three phases of implementation (Rough/Trim/Final). You will be the primary point of contact for clients, staff, trades, GCs, and architects, responsible for project timelines, profitability, and quality control. This role requires strong client experience management, including leading meetings and providing status updates in project management software.

Requirements

  • Experience on construction sites as a Project Manager (AV/LV is a plus!)
  • Knowledge of the built environment
  • Experience with all three phases of implementation (Rough/Trim/Final)
  • Steady work history (3yrs between hops)
  • High EQ
  • Ability to read, interpret, manifest, mark-up, and distribute plan sets/blueprints.
  • Experience with C4, Savant, and/or Lutron (a plus!)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Primary Point of Contact for clients, in-house staff, other trades, GC, and architects.
  • Understand, deliver, and troubleshoot the scope of work as needed.
  • Plan and manage project timelines, ensuring alignment with resources.
  • Manage project profitability by keeping actual hours at/below budgeted hours and removing redundancy and errors.
  • Issue work orders to the team and coordinate with third parties.
  • Ensure all work meets the Scope of Work, Plans, Company Standards, and Client Expectations.
  • Read, interpret, manifest, mark-up, and distribute plan sets/blueprints to the team.
  • Create, submit, get approval for, confirm payment, and execute change orders.
  • Lead meetings and manage client expectations for a polished client experience.
  • Provide status updates in Project Management Software.
