About The Position

Stream-Flo is hiring a Service Technician to support wellhead equipment and related services for the worldwide oil and gas industry. The role involves assembling, disassembling, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and removing equipment; preparing service documentation; maintaining spare-parts and tool inventory; and supporting customers in the field. The technician must be available on a 24-hour call basis and travel as required to meet company and customer needs. This is a rotational position, with three weeks on and three weeks off.

Requirements

Excellent operational and maintenance knowledge of wellhead equipment.
Five years of relevant field experience.
NSTC Training Certificate.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Mechanical aptitude.
Availability for a 3-weeks-on, 3-weeks-off rotation and travel as required.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Assemble, disassemble, and test equipment; troubleshoot and repair equipment.
Prepare accurate field service tickets, job reports, and other required administrative forms.
Maintain inventory levels of spare parts for service and rental tools.
Promote and perform field service-oriented sales and maintain confident customer relationships for the company.
Receive and comprehend training on new related processes.
Conduct job safety analyses and act as a safety leader while performing duties.
Assist in developing job action planning with customers on location, as needed.
Install and/or remove equipment in accordance with applicable technical procedures.
Remain available on a 24-hour call basis to respond to customer needs.
Perform other duties and activities assigned by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Comply with applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Travel as required to support company and customer needs.
