About The Position

Cummins is seeking a Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join its Distribution business in Morgan City, Louisiana. The role involves completing repairs on engine products in a service shop and performing maintenance and repairs using diagnostic tools. The technician is expected to maintain detailed service records, follow Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies, pursue ongoing development and certifications for new and existing Cummins products, and maintain their own tools. Successful candidates will complete complex internal engine repairs and perform engine overhauls without assistance. They will need a detailed understanding of aftertreatment systems and components, as well as proficiency with engine diagnostic software. Administrative responsibilities include keeping company credit card expenses current, maintaining an up-to-date driver license, TWIC and passport, and submitting service reports and time daily. The position has no DOT requirements. Base salary is commensurate with experience. Requirements
