About The Position

We are looking for experienced automotive technicians to join our reconditioning team. Qualified applicants will possess a valid driver's license, good driving record, and have the ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of cars and light trucks. ASE certifications and GM experience are a plus! Experienced techs-- work better hours with no warranty work!!

Requirements

2+ years of Service Technician experience Required
High school diploma or equivalent
ASE Certification required B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Basic computer competencies
Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Nice To Haves

ASE certifications
GM experience

Responsibilities

Test drive and inspect ALL makes and models of used vehicles.
Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor and Parts Department regarding needed diagnosis, parts, and repairs.
Verify all repairs were completed correctly.
