About The Position

Good Boy Roofing & Siding is hiring a Service Technician / Project Manager to handle exterior repair and service work in Ocean County, New Jersey, and surrounding areas. The role combines personally performing service calls and repairs on roofing, siding, windows, trim, and capping with managing larger projects from start to closeout. The successful candidate diagnoses problems, prepares accurate material take-offs, coordinates crews, subcontractors, and material deliveries, and keeps clients informed while working independently. The position includes conducting quality inspections, enforcing OSHA and company safety standards, and documenting each job in JobTread with notes, photos, and client communications. Compensation is $65,000–$80,000 per year based on experience, plus a performance bonus and benefits. Requirements

At least 5 years of hands-on experience in exterior remodeling or repair, with project management or supervisory experience.
Proficiency in siding, roofing, and window repairs, including capping.
Experience completing material take-offs for siding, roofing, and windows.
Strong client communication skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs independently.
Ability to work at heights and use ladders up to 48 feet.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Deck building and repair knowledge.
Interior remodeling experience.
OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

Perform service calls and repairs on roofing, siding, windows, trim, and capping.
Diagnose leaks, storm damage, and installation issues, and recommend appropriate repairs.
Complete material take-offs for siding, roofing, and window projects and repairs.
Manage projects from start to closeout, coordinating crews, subcontractors, and material deliveries.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients on assigned jobs.
Conduct quality inspections and enforce OSHA and company safety standards on every job.
Document every job in JobTread with notes, photos, and client communications.
