Service Technician/Mechanic
About The Position
Cadillac of Lubbock, part of Cavender Auto Family, is seeking Service Technicians/Mechanics to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards. The role involves diagnosing automotive systems, using diagnostic tools and service equipment, communicating repair needs to Service Advisors, and documenting completed work. Incentives include up to $15,000 in sign-on bonuses based on level and certifications, up to $10,000 in relocation assistance, and tuition reimbursement for qualifying recent graduates of accredited technical schools. Requirements
- Previous experience as a service technician.
- Strong automotive background.
- Valid driver's license.
- Submit to and successfully complete an MVR check, background check, and pre-employment drug test.

- Manufacturer ASE certifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so customers can be informed about additional service needs, and estimate the time needed for additional repairs.
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
- Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
- Keep the work area clean and orderly and follow prescribed safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
