About The Position

General Parts Group is hiring experienced commercial kitchen equipment technicians in the Kansas City, Missouri area. Service Technicians service, repair, and maintain restaurant and other commercial foodservice equipment at customer locations, including restaurants, hospitals, schools, and commercial kitchens. The work may focus on commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or both. Hourly rates start at $25.00 and may reach $45.00 based on experience. Experienced candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $3,000. General Parts Group has operated for more than 80 years and supports a field service force of over 200 technicians across 26 states. The company encourages technicians to pursue CFESA training certifications, and many team members hold Master Certification. It emphasizes employee retention, training, and providing qualified, professional service to customers.

Requirements

Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment.
Valid driver's license.
EPA certification is required for refrigeration technicians.
Ability to work independently in the field.

Nice To Haves

CFESA training certifications are encouraged.
A CFESA Master Certification is held by many technicians at the company.

Responsibilities

Service, repair, and maintain commercial restaurant and foodservice equipment at customer locations.
Work on commercial cooking equipment such as fryers, ovens, and grills, commercial refrigeration such as walk-ins, ice machines, and reach-ins, or both.
Provide field service at restaurants, hospitals, schools, and commercial kitchens.
