About The Position
General Parts Group is hiring experienced commercial kitchen equipment service technicians in the Kansas City, Missouri area. Technicians service, repair, and maintain restaurant and other foodservice equipment at customer locations, including restaurants, hospitals, schools, and commercial kitchens. The work may focus on commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or both. Hourly pay starts at $25.00 and may reach $45.00 based on experience. Experienced candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $3,000. The role includes a company vehicle and steady commercial service work. General Parts supports technician training, including CFESA certifications, and offers career growth opportunities for skilled technicians.
Requirements
- Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- EPA certification is required for refrigeration technicians.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with commercial cooking equipment such as fryers, ovens, and grills.
- Experience with commercial refrigeration equipment such as walk-ins, ice machines, and reach-ins.
- Experience as a combo technician with both cooking equipment and refrigeration.
