About The Position

ALL Sunshine Crane Rental Corp. is seeking a Crane, Truck and Heavy Equipment Service Technician and Diesel Mechanic in Apopka, Florida. This is a full-time, non-exempt position responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing cranes, heavy-duty trucks, and other equipment. Hands-on experience with cranes and lift equipment is a plus. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and is eligible for a $300 sign-on bonus after 100 days of continuous, successful employment.

Requirements

Strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
Strong background in diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Must have a basic set of mechanic’s hand tools.
Ability to work safely around moving machinery and in conditions with marked changes in temperature and humidity.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience with cranes and lift equipment.
Previous experience with Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks.
Experience with diagnostic software such as Cummins INSITE.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair cranes, heavy-duty trucks, and other equipment of all makes.
Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed.
Read, understand, and interpret operating manuals, parts manuals, and technical drawings.
Interface positively with service writers, supervisors, the parts department, and customers.
Prepare accurate documentation of actions taken.
Use diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.
Maintain conformity with safety requirements and other regulations.
