About The Position

MasterTech is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics in York, Pennsylvania. In a shop environment, mechanics maintain, diagnose, and repair a diverse line of heavy equipment. Leadership roles and opportunities for growth are available. Compensation is $32.00–$45.00 per hour, based on experience, training, certifications, and other factors. The shift is days, Monday through Friday, with overtime available. A company service vehicle and gas card may be available for field service openings.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, or completion of a Diesel Technology/Mechanic program.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency with diagnostic scanning tools.

Nice To Haves

• Welding experience.
• OEM training.
• Working knowledge of construction, earth-moving, forestry, mining, landscaping, or similar equipment.
