About The Position

ENCON Equipment is hiring a full-time Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Service Technician to support its growing equipment rental fleet in Somerset, Kentucky. The role involves maintaining and repairing construction equipment, including skid steers, mini excavators, lifts, and telehandlers. Work is a mix of shop work and field service, with steady year-round hours and overtime available. Technicians help ensure equipment is reliable and ready for job sites while coordinating with rental and operations teams.

Requirements

• Experience as a mechanic or service technician.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, electrical systems, engines, and mechanical components.
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment without guesswork.
• Solid work ethic and attention to detail.
• Physical capability for hands-on shop and field work.
• Valid driver’s license.
