About The Position

ENCON Equipment is hiring a full-time Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Service Technician to support its growing equipment rental fleet in the Lexington, Kentucky–Nicholasville, Kentucky area. The role involves maintaining and repairing construction equipment, including skid steers, mini excavators, lifts, and telehandlers, through a mix of shop work and field service. The position offers steady hours, a consistent year-round workload, and overtime opportunities. Technicians help ensure equipment is reliable and ready for job sites while coordinating with rental and operations teams.

Requirements

• Experience as a mechanic or service technician.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, electrical systems, engines, and mechanical components.
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment without guesswork.
• Solid work ethic and attention to detail.
• Physical capability to perform hands-on shop and field work.
• Valid driver’s license.
