About The Position
At El Pollo Loco, the Service Team Member helps deliver a positive customer experience by greeting guests, assembling orders, and assisting with food preparation. The role ensures “Best in Class” customer service from start to finish, including maintaining cleanliness, helping customers with orders, processing transactions efficiently, suggestive selling, and handling payments accurately and professionally. Team Members collaborate with restaurant staff and management to meet operational goals, maintain a positive work environment, and uphold company standards. Food preparation follows company recipes and procedures and may include assembling menu items, shredding chicken, preparing salsa or dressing, and packing condiments. Previous customer service or food service experience is preferred but not required. The position offers flexible full-time or part-time hours, with benefits eligibility based on average weekly hours worked during a 12-month period.
