About The Position

The Service Team Member delivers friendly customer service, helps customers shop the store and find products, and provides a fast, friendly checkout experience. The role includes store operations such as truck unloading, stocking, merchandise recovery, maintenance, and planogram work to support a well-merchandised and in-stock store. Team members also assist with online order fulfillment, promote customer programs, support shrink and safety efforts, and follow company procedures and policies. The position is based in a public retail store setting and includes cross-training in Custom Framing sales and production.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.
• Must satisfy applicable federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and find solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and handle cash according to standards.
• Explain the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers about the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with omnichannel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including returns/go-backs and general store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and ad-set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow standard operating procedures and company programs, policies, and standards to meet applicable laws and requirements.
• Interact with others respectfully, remain positive in difficult situations, support the organization’s vision and values, and serve as a positive role model for team members.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
