About The Position
At El Pollo Loco, the Service Team Member helps deliver a positive guest experience by greeting customers, assembling orders, assisting with food preparation, and keeping the restaurant clean. The role provides friendly, accurate, and efficient service from start to finish while following company recipes, procedures, and standards. Team members work collaboratively with colleagues and management to meet operational goals and maintain a positive work environment. Previous customer service or food service experience is preferred but not required. The position may be scheduled for full-time or part-time hours. Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with restaurant team members and management to achieve operational goals, maintain a positive work environment, and uphold company standards.
- Greet and assist customers with their orders in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Strive to meet or exceed customer expectations and satisfaction.
- Assist in preparing food items in compliance with company recipes and procedures, including assembling menu items, shredding chicken, preparing salsa or dressing, and packing condiments.
- Process and assemble customer orders efficiently, accurately, and on time.
- Use suggestive selling to improve the customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness.
- Handle payment and cash transactions accurately and professionally.
