About The Position

We are seeking an experienced automotive dealership professional with a strong background in Parts and Service operations. This position requires prior GM or dealership experience. Candidates without relevant dealership experience will not be considered. The role involves maintaining dealership service and parts records, looking up VIN information, managing technician labor times, processing warranty claims, and coordinating shop workflow to maximize technician proficiency and productivity. The ideal candidate will support daily service department operations and maintain high standards of accuracy and organization.

Requirements

  • Prior automotive dealership Parts & Service experience required.
  • Strong understanding of warranty procedures, labor operations, and Compliance.
  • Excellent organizational and scheduling skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Prior GM dealership experience preferred.
  • Candidates without relevant dealership experience will not be considered.
  • Qualified candidates only.
  • We will not entertain applicants who do not possess prior dealership experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous GM dealership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain dealership service and parts records with strong bookkeeping skills.
  • Look up and verify VIN information such as (Recalls, TSB's, Special coverage).
  • Accurately add and manage technician labor times.
  • Research and process warranty claims, operations, and TSBs (Technical Service Bulletins) in advance.
  • Coordinate and channel work efficiently through the service shop.
  • Maximize technician proficiency, productivity, and overall shop production.
  • Reconcile technician schedules and workload to ensure optimal workflow and efficiency.
  • Support daily service department operations and maintain high standards of accuracy and organization.
