The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating service appointments, managing technician schedules and productivity, and ensuring the smooth flow of automotive services. Requirements

Proven experience in a similar automotive service dispatch role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of automotive systems and terminology.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and customer-focused work environment

Responsibilities

Assign work to technicians according to their skill level, and to “time promised.”
Follow-up work in process, inform service advisors ahead of time, if time promised cannot be kept.
Maintain shop capacity control and advise service advisors of capacity status throughout the day.
Work with techs daily to hit their individual daily goals and drive the daily-weekly-monthly production goals for the department to hit the financial goals.
Prohibit personnel from using equipment, materials, or processes for which they have not received appropriate training.
Requisition installation of engineering controls, and purchase of protective equipment before using equipment, materials, or processes for which appropriate controls and equipment have not been established.
Assign work to technicians. Follow up on work progress.
Monitor shop capacity and provide information to service advisors.
Monitor technician efficiency and provide assistance for improvement.
Keep workshop technical information updated. Maintain information library.
Maintain housekeeping standards in the workshop, technicians’ facilities, and service parking lot.
Help mentor and train our younger techs to become the best versions of themselves.

Follow processes that support a great guest experience and drive CSI and fix it right the first time scores.
