About The Position

The Service Sales Rep delivers automotive products, supplies, and equipment to auto dealerships and independent garages using a company truck. The role maintains truck inventory and route stock, processes sales orders and invoices, handles customer pickup and delivery records, and communicates completed invoices to the corporate office daily. The position also requires daily delivery-vehicle inspections and forklift operation. The employee is expected to maintain professionalism and follow company safety policies, including PPE requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean report.
• Must pass Department of Transportation (DOT) certification.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer-service demeanor.
• Good math skills.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and regularly lift or move 30–50 pounds.
• Must be at least 21 years of age with a clean driving record.
• Valid driver's license for a minimum of three years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of professionalism and follow company safety policies, including PPE requirements.
• Drive a company truck to deliver automotive products, supplies, and equipment to auto dealerships and independent garages.
• Generate sales orders and invoices based on store needs.
• Maintain control of company truck inventory and ensure the correct stock is available for the route.
• Place stock on shelves or racks.
• Obtain customer signatures and record purchase order numbers for pickups or deliveries.
• Communicate completed sales invoices to the corporate office daily.
• Inspect the delivery vehicle daily and ensure maintenance and safety requirements are met.
• Operate a forklift daily.
