Service Representative
About The Position
Pacific Supply is a distributor of building products with more than 40 locations throughout the Western United States. The company has served the construction industry and local communities since 1953. It is seeking entry-level candidates for the Service Representative position; building-industry experience is preferred but not required. Under the direction of the Branch Manager, the Service Representative assists customers with order-related transactions and inquiries. The role includes courteous customer assistance, accurate order entry, and operating the cash register to complete transactions. Store opening on Saturdays is shared on a rotating basis. Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience in a customer service position.
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in the building industry is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Acknowledge and assist all customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Accurately enter orders into the computer system.
- Operate the cash register to finalize transactions.
- Share Saturday store openings on a rotating basis.
