About The Position

Pacific Supply is a distributor of building products with over 40 locations throughout the Western United States and has served the construction industry and local communities since 1953. The company is seeking entry-level candidates for a Service Representative position. Previous building industry experience is preferred but not required. Pacific Supply describes employees as an integral part of its success and encourages employee development.

Under the direction of the Branch Manager, the Service Representative assists customers with order-related transactions and inquiries. The position includes customer service, accurate order entry, and operating the cash register. The store opening is shared on a rotating Saturday basis.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience in a customer service position.
• Excellent telephone etiquette.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in the building industry is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and assist customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Accurately enter orders into the computer system.
• Operate the cash register to finalize transactions.
• Share opening the store on a rotating Saturday basis.
