About The Position

Pioneer Builders Supply, a division of Pacific Supply, is hiring an entry-level Service Representative for its new Longview, Washington location. The company distributes building products and has served the construction industry and local communities since 1953. The role assists customers with order-related transactions and inquiries, builds relationships with contractors and other accounts, and supports accurate order fulfillment. Previous building-industry experience is preferred but not required. Compensation is $17.13–$23.00 per hour, with mileage reimbursement offered during the training period. Upon promotion to Outside Sales Representative, compensation includes a competitive base salary and uncapped commission.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience in a customer service position.
Excellent telephone etiquette.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to independently manage time, pipeline, and follow-ups.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in the building industry is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and other key accounts.
Represent a range of in-demand building products and value-added services.
Provide customer service and follow through on orders and account needs.
Partner with branch operations to support customer satisfaction and smooth fulfillment.
Accurately enter orders into the computer system and operate the cash register to finalize transactions.
