About The Position

Chambers Prairie Animal Hospital is hiring a full-time Client Service Representative for its four-doctor veterinary practice in Olympia, Washington. The representative is the first point of contact for clients and their pets, helping the front desk run smoothly and working with the doctors and veterinary team to keep appointments on track. The practice describes its culture as team-oriented and based on a “better together” philosophy, with an emphasis on patient care, work-life balance, professional growth, and an inclusive workplace. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexible scheduling. The role has no nights, on-call shifts, or holiday hours. Pay is $17.50–$18 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced veterinary front desk environment.
Empathy for clients and coworkers.

Love of animals and a genuine desire to help pet owners.

Customer service or office experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet clients and their pets warmly as they arrive.
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to client questions.
Maintain accurate patient records and handle billing and checkout.
Help coordinate veterinary services and procedures so appointments flow smoothly.
Support doctors and the veterinary team as needed.
Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
