About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is hiring a Service Porter for its Kendall Ford team in Eugene, Oregon. This entry-level role offers an opportunity to learn the automotive industry. The position involves moving vehicles, assisting service customers and advisors, helping with vehicle check-in, retrieving parts and supplies, and keeping the service drive and vehicles clean. Work takes place indoors and outdoors in a shop environment, including greeting customers in the service drive. Full-time availability and a valid driver license with a clean driving record are required.

Requirements

• Proven customer service experience.

• Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, and hybrid models.
• Ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Availability for full-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Move and park service vehicles as needed.
• Communicate with service clients and provide superior customer service.
• Direct service customers to the appropriate advisor.
• Obtain basic vehicle information to assist with the check-in process.
• Retrieve parts and supplies.
• Operate snow removal equipment.
• Wash vehicle exteriors and vacuum vehicle interiors.
• Perform janitorial tasks to keep the service drive clean and presentable.
