About The Position

The Service Porter supports the dealership’s Service Department by safely moving, maintaining, and presenting vehicles while providing exceptional customer service. The role helps maintain an organized, safe, and efficient service environment and contributes to a positive customer experience. This is a full-time position at Mountain States Toyota, with Monday through Saturday availability and Sundays off. Compensation is up to $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety.
• Reliability and punctuality, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including a background check, motor vehicle record review, and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Previous automotive dealership, valet, porter, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and help direct vehicles to designated service areas.
• Safely transport customer and dealership vehicles throughout the service drive, parking lot, and dealership property.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of service lanes, parking areas, customer waiting areas, and dealership grounds.
• Assist service advisors and technicians by locating, staging, and delivering vehicles as needed.
• Prepare vehicles for customer delivery by washing, vacuuming, fueling, and inspecting them.
• Monitor lot organization and park vehicles in designated locations to support operational efficiency.
• Follow dealership safety policies and procedures while providing professional and courteous customer service.
