Service Porter
About The Position
ABC Hyundai is hiring a Service Porter to support service customers and the dealership’s service operations. The role involves greeting customers, preparing incoming vehicles for service, coordinating with service advisors, and moving vehicles to and from the service parking lot. It offers an opportunity to gain entry into the automotive industry in a fast-paced environment. The listed pay is $15.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., including Saturdays, with one weekday off; the dealership is closed Sundays. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. The workplace is drug-free, and reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform essential functions.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail.

- An acceptable driving record.
- A valid driver's license in the applicant's state of residence.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- At least 18 years old.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome service customers.
- Assist customers promptly and professionally.
- Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
- Identify the service advisor with whom each customer has an appointment and notify that advisor.
- Drive vehicles from the service lane to their designated locations in the service parking lot.
- Retrieve customer vehicles.
