About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is hiring a Service Porter to join its Ford Team. This entry-level, hourly position offers training and opportunities for career growth in the automotive industry. The role works in a fast-paced environment, ensuring vehicles arrive at and depart for the appropriate store locations. Porters drive Kendall vehicles safely and represent the Kendall brand while supporting service operations and customers.

Work is performed equally indoors and outdoors. Most duties involve standing or walking, with frequent bending and twisting to enter and exit vehicles. The position requires occasional lifting of 20 pounds and rare lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, and hybrid models.
• Ability to drive vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Good, clean driving record.
• Valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Move and park service vehicles as needed.
• Communicate with service clients and provide superior customer service.
• Direct service customers to the appropriate advisor.
• Obtain basic vehicle information to assist with the check-in process.
• Retrieve parts and supplies.
• Operate snow removal equipment.
• Wash vehicle exteriors and vacuum vehicle interiors.
• Perform janitorial tasks to keep the service drive clean and presentable.
• Drive Kendall vehicles safely and ensure they arrive at or depart for the appropriate store locations.
