About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is hiring a full-time, entry-level Service Porter to join its Ford Team in Vancouver. The position offers training, room for growth, and opportunities to pursue career advancement in service or sales. Porters work in a fast-paced environment, moving vehicles between appropriate store locations and representing the Kendall brand while driving company vehicles safely.

The work is performed equally indoors and outdoors. Most duties involve standing or walking, with frequent bending and twisting to enter and exit vehicles. The role requires occasional lifting of 20 pounds and rare lifting of up to 50 pounds. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, and hybrid models.
• Ability to drive vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Valid driver's license and a good, clean driving record.
• Ability to perform duties involving standing, walking, frequent bending and twisting, and occasional lifting of 20 pounds and rare lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Move and park service vehicles as needed.
• Communicate with service clients and provide superior customer service.
• Direct service customers to the appropriate advisor.
• Obtain basic vehicle information to assist with the check-in process.
• Retrieve parts and supplies.
• Operate snow removal equipment.
• Wash vehicle exteriors and vacuum vehicle interiors.
• Perform janitorial tasks to keep the service drive clean and presentable.
• Drive Kendall vehicles safely and represent the Kendall brand.
