About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is hiring a Service Porter for its Kendall Ford Lincoln team in Anchorage. This entry-level, hourly role offers training and opportunities to grow within the automotive industry. The position requires full-time availability and involves working in a fast-paced environment, moving vehicles to the appropriate locations and representing the Kendall brand through safe driving and customer service.

Work is performed equally indoors and outdoors. Most duties involve standing or walking, with frequent bending and twisting to enter and exit vehicles. The role requires occasional lifting of 20 pounds and rare lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, and hybrid models.
• Ability to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Valid driver's license and a good, clean driving record.
• Availability for full-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Move and park service vehicles as needed.
• Communicate with service clients and provide superior customer service.
• Direct service customers to the appropriate advisor.
• Obtain basic vehicle information to assist with the check-in process.
• Retrieve parts and supplies.
• Operate snow removal equipment.
• Wash vehicle exteriors and vacuum vehicle interiors.
• Perform janitorial tasks to keep the service drive clean and presentable.
• Drive Kendall vehicles safely and represent the Kendall brand.
