We’re seeking a driven, dependable Service Manager to lead our Oklahoma City, OK service department and ensure exceptional service delivery for fire and rescue equipment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in service management, automotive/fleet repair, or a related industry.
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting knowledge and repair methodology.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to de-escalate and resolve concerns.
  • Proficiency with service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must provide and maintain basic personal hand tools required assigned duties (company provides larger equipment, service vehicles, and job-specific tools/materials)

Nice To Haves

  • Trade School or Technical Certification preferred.
  • Experience in fire apparatus, emergency vehicle, or heavy equipment service environment is a significant plus.
  • Knowledge of fire apparatus systems, NFPA standards, and emergency vehicle operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of the service department to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Build strong relationships with fire departments, ensuring proactive communication and outstanding customer satisfaction
  • Manage and develop a team of service technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance coaching
  • Coordinate workflow, monitor open work orders, and ensure timely and high-quality job completion
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for complex repair issues
  • Review work orders and invoices for accuracy and quality prior to billing
  • Monitor departmental performance metrics and contribute to financial and operational goals
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team
