About The Position
The Service Manager leads Orkin’s service operation after completing paid training. The role combines technical knowledge, customer service, and people leadership to ensure customers receive high-quality, empathetic service while prioritizing safety. The manager develops and motivates the service team, supports business growth, and contributes to community service projects. The position offers a starting salary of $70,000 to $78,000 with bonus potential, along with a company vehicle and provided technology.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license or certification if required.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage route-based assignments, and interact with customers at their businesses and/or homes.
- Ability to meet physical job requirements and safely perform job duties with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities
- Lead the entire service operation upon completion of paid training.
- Motivate the service team to consistently provide high-quality service while prioritizing safety.
- Conduct oneself professionally and with integrity when working with customers and coworkers.
- Assist with recruiting talent for the service team.
- Train and develop Orkin Pros through hands-on management.
- Lead training meetings.
- Oversee the Orkin Pro Ride-A-Long program.
- Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded through inspections, proposed courses of action, and empathetic customer service.
- Support the team in adopting new products, services, and technology.
- Monitor scheduling, routing, and inventory to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Support community service projects.
