About The Position

Aaron Services, a family-owned Plumbing, Heating & Cooling company serving North Atlanta since 1978, is seeking a Service Manager to lead the development of their service team. This role involves both field leadership and operational management, focusing on coaching technicians, improving systems, and driving the growth of service departments. The success of this position is measured by technician development, adherence to best practices, and overall department performance. The ideal candidate enjoys developing people, solving problems, and building effective systems.

Requirements

  • Significant residential plumbing service experience.
  • Georgia Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred, or the qualifications and willingness to obtain one within your first year of employment.
  • Previous leadership, mentoring, training, or management experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Comfortable reviewing KPIs, estimates, invoices, and technician performance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Residential HVAC experience is a plus, but not required.
  • ServiceTitan experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of service technicians through ride-alongs, field coaching, structured training, onboarding, one-on-one coaching, and ongoing mentorship to improve technical ability, professionalism, customer communication, documentation, sales presentation, and overall performance.
  • Review jobs before, during, and after completion to strengthen diagnostics, workmanship, pricing, presentation of options, quality, and customer experience, ensuring company standards are met.
  • Review technician KPIs, invoices, estimates, callbacks, and other performance metrics to identify coaching opportunities, improve consistency, strengthen department performance, and ensure company standards are met.
  • Recruit, interview, onboard, and develop new technicians while fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with dispatch, warehouse, and leadership to improve communication, organization, efficiency, and service processes.
  • Set the standard for the department through professionalism, integrity, enthusiasm, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
