About The Position

Serra Ford Farmington Hills is seeking a dedicated, proactive Service Lot Porter to help maintain a clean and organized facility while providing exceptional guest service. The role involves greeting and assisting guests, maintaining public areas, safely driving vehicles—including manual transmission cars—and supporting dealership operations. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a commitment to creating a positive customer experience. Dealership experience is preferred but not required. Compensation is competitive and based on experience, with pay communicated at the time of offer. Employment may be contingent on successful background checks and drug screenings. Employees must provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.; employment is at-will, and job duties may change based on business needs.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written forms.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work with a team and across different facility departments.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests upon arrival, provide excellent customer service, and help with their needs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the parking area, showroom, service lane, and other public spaces.
• Drive vehicles safely, including manual transmission cars, when necessary.
• Assist with valet parking services as needed.
• Support dealership operations by performing various assigned tasks.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
