About The Position

Del Amo Motorsports is seeking a Lot Porter to support its service department at its Chula Vista location. The dealership describes itself as a leading Southern California powersports dealership with eight locations and emphasizes quality work, customer service, and a positive, friendly workplace. The role assists service personnel with customer units, supports technicians and the shop foreman, and helps maintain the service department and warehouse.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Clean driving record and a current driver’s license.
Strong verbal and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple strict deadlines.

Nice To Haves

Some computer literacy.
Interest in or experience in the motorsports industry.

Responsibilities

Assist service personnel, including service advisors, with receiving and pickup of customer units.
Pick up and deliver customer units as required.
Assist technicians and the shop foreman with control of all units.
Pre-stage the technicians’ next units.
Clean completed units.
Keep the warehouse organized for easy access to all units.
Maintain the service department.
Perform other duties deemed necessary for the success of the department and dealership.
Maintain positive working relationships with managers, employees, and other departments.
Follow dealership policies, including general housekeeping requirements.
Follow the company dress code and maintain a well-groomed appearance.
