About The Position

Serra Ford Farmington Hills is seeking a dedicated and proactive Service Lot Porter to help maintain the cleanliness and organization of its facility while providing excellent guest service. The role supports dealership operations and involves interacting with guests, maintaining public areas, and safely driving vehicles, including manual-transmission cars when needed. The position is part of Serra Automotive, a privately held automotive retail group founded in 1973. The company operates dealerships across eight states and emphasizes quality service, integrity, and career growth. Compensation is competitive and based on experience, with pay communicated at the time of offer.

Requirements

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to operate both automatic and manual-transmission vehicles.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work with a team and different departments within the facility.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist guests upon arrival, provide excellent customer service, and help with their needs.
Maintain the cleanliness of the parking area, showroom, service lane, and other public spaces.
Drive vehicles safely, including manual-transmission cars, when necessary.
Assist with valet parking services as needed.
Support dealership operations by performing various tasks as assigned.
Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
