About The Position

We are currently seeking a self-motivated, results-oriented SERVICE EXPERIENCE ADVISOR. This role serves as the primary customer contact at the Knowledge Bar, providing consultative support, identifying customer needs, and recommending appropriate service solutions and value-added offerings. The role is responsible for accurately processing service check-ins, basic troubleshooting, point-of-sale transactions, and routing work to the appropriate service teams while ensuring clear communication of pricing, timelines, and service expectations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • No prior technical experience required
  • Requires standing and walking throughout the service department for the duration of each shift
  • Requires constant manual lifting and carrying of objects up to 25 lbs and frequent manual lifting of 26–50 lbs (and occasional up to 100 lbs) to move hardware for diagnostic testing
  • Requires constant use of manual and power hand tools—including screwdrivers, soldering irons, heat guns, tweezers, and specialized instruments—to perform delicate repairs, as well as repetitive keyboard operation

  • Strong preference given to candidates with customer-facing commissioned sales, hospitality, and/or retail experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport, earn trust, and explain services or solutions clearly and professionally
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the trusted point of contact for walk-in or scheduled customers at the Knowledge Bar
  • Listen actively to customer concerns and guide them through appropriate service solutions and offerings
  • Recommend value-added services such as PriorityCare+, Data Backup, ESET, and other products and services in a consultative and helpful manner
  • Clearly communicate estimated pricing, timelines, and expectations at time of check-in
  • Assist in basic troubleshooting and accurately route work orders to the appropriate service queues
  • Process service and point of sale transactions accurately and completely
  • Maintain minimum attachment rates and productivity standards
  • Stay informed of current promotions and attachment opportunities
  • Provide timely, professional updates to customers regarding service status
  • Obtain required certifications as directed by management
  • Keep a clean, organized, and customer-ready workspace
  • Ensure that customer service standards are met and that difficult customer situations are handled courteously and professionally
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
