About The Position

Grubbs Family of Dealerships is hiring a dependable, energetic Service Porter / Valet to help keep its service drive running smoothly and make a strong first impression on guests. The role is an entry point into the automotive industry, with opportunities to grow into advisor and technician roles. Porters are expected to meet the same standards of professionalism and customer care as the broader team. The position involves greeting service customers, safely parking and moving vehicles, preparing vehicles for return, maintaining clean and organized customer and lot areas, and assisting advisors and technicians. Careful vehicle handling and a consistent focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service are central to success.

Requirements

Positive attitude and strong work ethic; no experience is required.
Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

Greet every service customer warmly and promptly.
Park, stage, and retrieve vehicles safely and efficiently.
Move vehicles between the service drive, shop, car wash, and lot.
Wash, vacuum, and prepare vehicles to a consistent standard before returning them to customers.
Keep the service drive, lot, and customer areas clean, organized, and presentable.
Assist advisors and technicians by promptly shuttling vehicles, parts, and loaners when requested.
Protect vehicles by using seat covers and floor mats and handling them carefully.
