About The Position

Mercedes-Benz of White Plains is hiring a Service Dispatcher to join our team! The Dispatcher plans and controls the flow of service work through the service department in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs. Requirements

Good organizational skills
Good time management skills
Automotive knowledge/experience needed!
Dealership Experience is required

Nice To Haves

ADP/CDK CRM experience a plus

Responsibilities

Schedule shop work as efficiently as possible in accordance with dealership policy.
Assign work to the correct technician skill level
Ensure that technicians follow warranty procedures
Review hard copies turned in by technicians to ensure that assigned work has been completed properly
Ensure technicians complete the multi-point vehicle inspection forms
Complete a dispatch log daily and turn into Service Management at end of shift
Maintain a record of carryover vehicles
Coordinate parts requirements with the Parts Department
Spot-check repairs to assure quality and timely completion
Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes, OSHA right-to-know, etc.
