Service Department Porter
About The Position
Gwinnett Place Nissan is seeking a dedicated and reliable Service Department Porter to support its service department in Duluth, GA. The role helps maintain a clean and organized service area, assists with moving vehicles, and supports a smooth customer experience. The porter will also shuttle or pick up customers within a specified radius of the dealership and help ensure vehicles are returned to customers clean and presentable. Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but is not required. The position offers an hourly wage of $15.00–$16.00, paid semi-monthly, along with the opportunity to grow within a supportive dealership environment, employee discounts, and health and wellness benefits.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles proficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Move and park customer vehicles within the service department safely and efficiently.
- Shuttle or pick up customers within a specific radius of the dealership.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service department, including waiting areas, service bays, and parking lots.
- Assist service technicians with vehicle preparation and retrieval.
- Ensure vehicles are delivered to customers in a clean and presentable condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support operational flow.
