About The Position

Trane Technologies is hiring a Service Coordinator I in Louisville, Kentucky. The role plans, coordinates, controls, and directs operational resources to execute service agreements and repair work. The coordinator procures the labor and materials needed to complete work within financial standards and regularly interacts with customers, Field Technicians, and Service Managers to coordinate priorities. The position works onsite Monday through Thursday, with the option to choose a work location on Fridays based on work requirements.

Requirements

• A college or technical school certificate or degree and one year of related experience or training; alternatively, a high school diploma or GED and three years of related experience or training.
• Excellent customer service skills and comfort and effectiveness communicating by phone.
• Strong organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills, including the ability to manage daily interruptions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with the operation of Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems, and/or Temperature Controls.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service resources and dispatch and assign team members to projects.
• Schedule personnel, materials, subcontractors, and equipment according to project needs, skill sets, and availability.
• Communicate with Project Managers and the HVAC Field Technician Supervisor to assign and dispatch Controls Technicians and HVAC Technicians.
• Coordinate operational interactions with the Parts Department and Acquisition as necessary.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to assigned staff, and responding to special requests.
• Generate work orders, review project paperwork, forward paperwork to Project Administrators, and generate reports.
