About The Position

Trane in Louisville, Kentucky is hiring a Service Coordinator I to plan, coordinate, control, and direct operational resources. The role coordinates execution of service agreements and repair work, including procuring the appropriate labor and materials to complete work within financial standards. It involves frequent customer interaction, communication with Field Technicians, and coordination of job priorities with Service Managers.

The position is onsite Monday through Thursday, with the option to choose the work location on Fridays while balancing work needs.

Requirements

• A college or technical school certificate or degree and one year of related experience and/or training; or a high school diploma/GED and three years of related experience and/or training.
• Excellent customer service skills and comfort and effectiveness communicating by phone.
• Organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize daily interruptions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with the operation of Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems, and/or Temperature Controls.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service resources, dispatch, and assign team members to projects.
• Schedule personnel, materials, subcontractors, and equipment according to project needs, skill sets, and availability.
• Communicate with Project Managers and the HVAC Field Technician Supervisor to assign and dispatch Controls Technicians and HVAC Technicians.
• Coordinate operations with the Parts Department and Acquisition as necessary.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to assigned staff, and responding to special requests.
• Generate work orders, review project paperwork, forward paperwork to Project Administrators, and generate reports.
