About The Position

The Service Coordinator / Dispatcher coordinates the delivery of onsite and remote service activities for customers from initial demand creation through delivery and close-out. The role ensures customer expectations and commitments are met by scheduling and dispatching resources. It supports Siemens Smart Buildings services for the Norcross, Georgia branch, serving the greater Atlanta area.

Requirements

High school diploma or state-recognized GED.
Organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and understand customer service contracts.
Experience with Microsoft Office and business software systems such as SAP.
Verbal and written communication skills in English.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree.
Experience dispatching or scheduling field personnel or technicians.
Familiarity or experience with fire alarms or sprinklers, security systems, HVAC, or a similar industry.

Responsibilities

Support, inform, prioritize, and coordinate activities and resources across branch offices and the Digital Service Center.
Serve as the primary point of contact for service customers and ensure their expectations are met.
Handle incoming service requests by phone or email, create service work orders, and schedule or dispatch personnel.
Schedule resources to support standard service agreements.
Make decisions about scheduling and moving resources and materials based on service-call nature, urgency, contractual obligations, and availability.
Order and track parts and subcontractors for maintenance plans and service calls using the service platform.
Evaluate time-and-material service orders for completed costs and scope of work, and process invoices according to standard billing practices.
Follow up with customers after service completion to assess satisfaction with work quality.
