About The Position

Easton Coach Company LLC is hiring a Service Controller to coordinate transportation operations. The role schedules and dispatches drivers, vehicles, or equipment based on established schedules, customer requests, and immediate needs; relays information to and from drivers and driving assistants; and helps resolve service or equipment issues with supervisors and customers. The Service Controller also prepares schedules and work orders, facilitates communications within assigned company territories, and maintains records related to work requests, customers, charges, expenses, and inventory. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• One year of transportation experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles, or equipment according to predetermined schedules, customer requests, or immediate needs.
• Relay work orders and other messages to and from drivers and driving assistants.
• Contact employees using telephones, two-way radios, or text messages.
• Speak with supervisors or customers to resolve problems and requests for services or equipment.
• Prepare daily work, including schedules.
• Prepare work orders for crews or receive work orders from work crews.
• Facilitate communications within company-assigned territories.
• Organize and maintain work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges, service expenses, inventory records, and other information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
