Service Associate - West Towne
About The Position
The Service Associate provides satisfactory service and assistance to guests by bagging groceries, carrying purchases to vehicles, retrieving shopping carts, performing bottle-return tasks, and completing janitorial duties as needed. The role supports the financial best interests of the store during the shift and completes other assigned duties in a timely manner. The associate uses appropriate bagging supplies and techniques, handles spoiled or damaged products according to established guidelines, and maintains a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department. The position may also involve tasks in other departments to meet customer experience needs.
Requirements
- Good oral communication skills.
- Ability to interact politely and effectively with customers.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities
- Use appropriate bagging supplies and techniques when handling guests’ purchases.
- Empty bottle bins and clean bottle machines and the bottle-return area.
- Collect, return, clean, and organize shopping carts; take groceries to customers’ vehicles and load them.
- Know the location of products carried in the store.
- Handle spoiled or damaged products according to established guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department.
- Work independently of others.
- Perform cleaning duties and other assigned work in a timely manner.
- Follow PPE and safety guidelines.
- Follow food safety and cleaning expectations.
- Follow guest experience guidelines.
- Perform tasks in other departments as assigned to meet customer experience needs.
- Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
