About The Position

The Service Associate performs the duties of both a Customer Service Representative on the platform and a Teller at the teller line, primarily at designated traditional branch locations. The associate supports customers with sales, service, and banking transactions while following bank policies and procedures. In the account representative capacity, the associate works toward individual sales and service goals by opening deposit accounts, preparing and processing loan applications, closing applicable loans, referring customers to other bank business lines and third-party partners, and proactively contacting high-value customers to retain and grow the portfolio. Teller responsibilities include processing deposits, cashing checks, selling and recording monetary instruments, filing required government reports for large cash transactions and monetary instrument sales, processing foreign currency transactions, and handling loan payments and credit card cash advances. The associate may exercise discretion in some circumstances but must seek guidance from a supervisor whenever policy is unclear or uncertain.
