About The Position

St. Dominic Villa, an Illuminus Community in Hazel Green, Wisconsin, provides long-term skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation services for older adults. The Service Aide helps create a welcoming, supportive environment and contributes to resident-centered care. The role supports dining activities and maintains resident rooms and common areas, while upholding resident dignity, confidentiality, and safety.

The position is offered as full-time, part-time, and PRN, with scheduling options based on community needs. Shifts may be eight hours and may include weekend rotation as scheduled. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour. Benefits may vary based on employment status.

Requirements

• Enroll in a Certified Nursing Aide Program that starts within the month of hire; training assistance is provided.
• Excellent communication and human-relations skills.
• Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information.
• Ability to relate well to residents, patients, clients, family members, and personal representatives.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Promote dignity, respect, confidentiality, resident-centered care, and a positive organizational image.
• Support dining activities, including escorting residents and distributing meals, beverages, bibs, and other needed items.
• Maintain resident rooms and common areas by stocking personal care and other necessary supplies and providing activities and reading materials.
• Follow safety, infection-prevention, body-mechanics, equipment-use, and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with all disciplines and complete required training.
