About The Position

Gator Ford is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join its team. The dealership is part of Morgan Auto Group, a Florida automotive retail company. The role focuses on providing prompt, professional customer service, identifying customers’ service needs, coordinating vehicle repairs, communicating repair status and costs, and supporting customer satisfaction and loyalty. The position includes training, support, and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and provide timely, professional service.
Listen to customer inquiries and requests, ask questions to identify service needs, resolve concerns, and sell additional services when appropriate.
Estimate costs and completion times and settle customer accounts.
Communicate with customers about the status of work.
Coordinate repair activities to help ensure work is fixed right the first time and completed on time.
Obtain customers’ written approval for repair orders at write-up or when closing additional add-on sales.
Inspect completed repair orders for proper completion, pricing accuracy, and legibility.
Meet or exceed add-on sales goals and OEM Customer Satisfaction Index expectations.
Deliver vehicles to customers in proper condition.
Recognize repeat and first-time customers and treat them accordingly.
Contact customers to remind them of service appointments or scheduled maintenance.
Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously and make every effort to satisfy callers’ inquiries.
Document changes to repair orders.
Review repairs and associated charges with customers to ensure accuracy and avoid surprises.
Promptly address and resolve customer concerns and service follow-up issues.
