About The Position

Tom Kadlec Kia is seeking a professional Service Advisor to join their busy, well-supported service department. This role involves delivering exceptional customer experiences, helping customers maintain their vehicles, and building strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment and enjoys guiding customers through maintenance and repair decisions with honesty and clarity. The income potential is $60,000 – $90,000+ annually, based on base salary plus performance incentives. This position is open due to continued service department growth.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive service advisor experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple repair orders and customers simultaneously
  • Professional demeanor and customer-first attitude
  • Ability to confidently present recommended services and maintenance
  • Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact between customers and the service department
  • Listen carefully to customer concerns and document them accurately
  • Recommend maintenance and repairs based on manufacturer guidelines, mileage, and vehicle condition
  • Prepare accurate repair estimates for parts and labor
  • Communicate clearly with technicians and customers throughout the repair process
  • Provide timely updates so customers feel informed and confident in the work being performed
  • Review completed repairs with customers and ensure total satisfaction
