About The Position

Morrie's Auto Group is hiring a Service Advisor for Morrie's Bellevue Hyundai in Bellevue, Nebraska. The Service Advisor works with customers throughout the vehicle service process, from learning about vehicle concerns and obtaining customer and vehicle information to coordinating repairs and explaining completed work and charges. The role also includes advising customers about vehicle maintenance, handling inquiries and minor complaints, and supporting the service manager as needed. The position is full-time.

Responsibilities

Greet customers, listen to their descriptions of vehicle problems, and obtain customer and vehicle information.
Inspect vehicles for bodywork needs and notify customers when work is needed.
Obtain customer approval before repairs, explain cost estimates, and provide an approximate completion time.
Advise customers on vehicle care and the value of maintaining vehicles according to manufacturer specifications, using maintenance menus.
Handle minor customer complaints and misunderstandings.
Monitor repair orders throughout the day and contact customers about changes to estimates or promised completion times.
Handle telephone inquiries and return messages promptly.
Deliver vehicles to customers, answer questions, review work performed, and explain charges and coverage.
Refer vehicle sales leads and prospects to the new and pre-owned sales departments.
Assist the service manager as necessary.
Follow company safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt, dust, and harsh chemicals.
