About The Position

Honolulu Ford is hiring immediately to meet our customers' needs! We're looking for an accomplished Service Advisor with the determination to succeed and the ability to provide the best experience our clientele has always come to expect. This is a Full-Time opportunity. We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. To be successful in this role, you will be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak business periods and important opportunities for maximizing earnings. This position is onsite in Honolulu HI and reports to the Service Manager.

Requirements

2+ years of automotive service advising experience.
Adept to handle high-volume and adapt to our needs
Typing – Can write clear ROs
Mathematics – calculating service costs and counting change.
Working knowledge of computers and technology. Comfortability in navigating computer and dealership technologies.
Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities

Help us earn customers for life by creating welcoming and trust experiences for our customers.
Assess customer needs by conducting a vehicle walk around and addressing repair concerns.
Be the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensure the technician understands the customer's needs and the customer understands the needed and recommended service/repairs.
Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculate customer's payment, including deductibles.
Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
